Philippine Ambassador to Bahrain Alfonso A. Ver joined his counterparts from ASEAN member countries and dialogue partners in marking yesterday, 8 August 2015, the 48^th ASEAN founding anniversary with a flag ceremony and brief program at the Malaysian Embassy in Seef Area. The guest of honor during the event was MFA Assistant Undersecretary for GCC and Western Affairs Dr. Dhafer Al Umran. Also present were diplomatic personnel from the embassies of ASEAN and dialogue partners China, Japan, Korea,  senior national representatives (SNR) of ASEAN member-countries to the Combine Maritime Forces (CMF), and ASEAN community leaders in Bahrain.
