LAUNCHES ITS OFFICIAL FACEBOOK PAGE

            The Philippine Embassy in Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain is pleased to announce that it is now on Facebook.  As part of its public diplomacy program, the Embassy today launched its official Facebook page “Pasuguan ng Pilipinas sa Kaharian ng Bahrain”.

The page is intended to disseminate official news and information from the Philippine Embassy in Manama, the Department of Foreign Affairs in Manila and other PH Government agencies and instrumentalities.  These will include information on consular services provided by the Embassy, relevant announcements, travel advisories, projects and programs implemented by the Embassy, as well as pertinent Philippine and host government regulations or new policies affecting migrant Filipinos in Bahrain. 

The Embassy’s Official Facebook Page was also created with the intention of reaching out to Overseas Filipinos, particularly those who are working and/or residing in the Kingdom of Bahrain.  Members of the Filipino Community in Bahrain are encouraged to constantly monitor updates from the page and to share their views, comments and suggestions to help improve and further enhance the Embassy’s delivery of services.
