THE 1ST BAHRAIN INTERNATIONAL DEFENCE EXHIBITION AND CONFERENCE (BIDEC 2017)

17 October 2017, Manama – Philippine Department of National Defence Undersecretary for Civil, Veterans and Retirees Affairs Reynaldo Mapagu is currently in the Kingdom of Bahrain to attend the 1st Bahrain International Defence Exhibition and Conference (BIDEC 2017), upon the invitation of Bahrain’s Ministry of National Defence.
The BIDEC 2017 is the first tri-service show to take place in the Kingdom of Bahrain and is being held under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. It was organized under the direction of His Highness Brigadier Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Commander of Bahrain Royal Guard and Chairman of the BIDEC.
Exhibitors of the BIDEC 2017 include prominent suppliers of all sorts of military equipment and technologies, such as Lockheed Martin, Bell Helicopter, Bae Systems, Cambli Group, Korea Defense Industry Association, Ritter & Stark, Thales, Beretta Defense Technologies, Military Industrial Company, MilSOFT, MSI-Defence Systems Ltd., Pearson Engineering, and Yahsat.
The BIDEC is also being held in conjunction with the Middle East Military Alliances and Coalitions (MEMAC) Conference organized by the Bahrain Centre for Strategic, International and Energy Studies (DERASAT). The three-day event will end on 18 October 2017.END
